When using these techniques there is no need to re-live the events or traumas of the past in order to transform the patterns they have created in our lives. And many times the changes can occur quite rapidly.

 

 

The two techniques that I use primarily are

 

Tapas Acupressure Technique - TAT

 

Emotional Freedom Technique – EFT

 

These methods are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yoga. I utilize the same Chinese meridian systems in the body that are used by acupuncturists.  It is like emotional acupuncture – but without the needles.

 

It is believed that emotional distress is ultimately caused, held in place, and re-triggered by a disturbance in the subtle energy system, which then brings the distress up again and again.  By restoring balance and harmony to that system, the emotional distress can be resolved. Using these techniques is like using the “Ctrl - Alt -Delete” keys on your computer to reset the system .......and is almost as simple.

 

You, the client, are taught to tap on or hold certain points of your head or body with your fingers while putting your attention on your personal issue of concern. This allows you to be totally involved and empowered with your own healing. I serve as a teacher, guide and facilitator of your healing process.

 

The techniques are simple to learn and soon you will be able to apply them when you need to clear and manage your stress at anytime yourself.

 

These techniques are used for many things from ending stress, especially traumatic stress, freeing a person of reactions to allergens, emotional issues, gaining self-confidence and a positive outlook on life,  attaining self empowerment and much more.

 

 

 

After using these techniques some people have describe the experience as a feeling of calmness, harmony, peace, wholeness and integration, Sometimes people find it difficult to even get in touch with the original feeling or issue they had before.

 

These techniques are suitable for people of all ages, including children.  They integrate smoothly with other healing modalities, including alternative health approaches, standardized medicine and other therapies.

               

 

 

TAT was developed by acupuncturist, Tapas Fleming, originally to alleviate reactions to allergies and sensitivities, then very soon she discover that it was highly effective and fast at treating traumas, health issues, emotional issues, as well as many other conditions.
